You're not alone

Learning to code is hard. Not because of the syntax or the algorithms, but because of the isolation and uncertainty that comes with it.
You’re following a course—maybe a YouTube playlist, a Udemy program, or a bootcamp. You’re putting in the hours. But some days you don’t know if you’re learning the right things. Some days you feel stuck and don’t know who to ask. Some days you just need someone to say: “You’re doing fine. Keep going.”
That’s what this is for.
“I finally understood closures today. Not from the tutorial, but from explaining my confusion to someone who cared enough to listen.”
— Student learning React
What you get
Every day for 30 days, you’ll spend 15 minutes talking to a trained counselor about your learning journey. Not through an app you have to download—just WhatsApp.
You’ll talk about:
- What you learned today
- What frustrated or confused you
- Challenges you’re facing in your course
- What you plan to tackle tomorrow
The effects compound when you do this daily. That’s why we ask for 15 minutes every single day.
We listen. We reflect. We help you process what you’re going through. We gently nudge you forward when you’re stuck, and celebrate with you when things click.
This isn’t mentorship. This isn’t debugging help. This isn’t career counseling. Your course should provide those things.
This is something different: a space to feel heard, to stay mindful about your learning, and to show up consistently—because someone is showing up for you.
Why this works
I’ve been training students for over 5 years. More than 1,000 people have gone through my programs. I’ve seen what makes the difference between someone who finishes a course and someone who drops out halfway.
It’s not intelligence. It’s not prior experience. It’s not even the quality of the course material.
It’s whether you feel alone in the process.
When learning feels isolating, your brain starts telling you stories: “I’m not smart enough for this.” “Everyone else gets it faster.” “Maybe I should just quit.”
Those stories aren’t true, but they’re loud when you’re alone with them.
Daily conversation changes that. When you talk about your day—what worked, what didn’t, what you’re confused about—you start seeing your own progress more clearly. You realize the struggles are normal. You build the muscle of showing up, even on hard days.
Over the past two years, I’ve trained a team of counselors to do exactly this: listen deeply, ask the right questions, and help students stay connected to why they started learning in the first place.
This program has run before, inside my cohorts. Students stayed consistent. They finished what they started. Now I’m opening it up to 25 people who aren’t in any of my programs.
What we don’t do
We don’t solve your bugs. We don’t explain technical concepts. We don’t give you career advice or review your resume.
Why? Because your course should provide those things. Treat this as a supplement—something that helps you do your course better, more mindfully, more consistently.
We teach you to fish. We help you build the mindset and tools to overcome obstacles on your own. But we’re here, every day, so you’re not figuring it out alone.

A bit about me
I’m Tanay Pratap. Over the past 5 years, I’ve trained more than 1,000 students in programming. Many of them are now working as developers.
This counseling program has been running inside my cohorts for the past two years, and it works. I’ve seen it help students stay consistent, overcome doubt, and actually finish what they start.
This is the second time I’m opening it to people outside my programs. If I’m telling you this works, it’s because I’ve watched it work—again and again.
